Four Things the Music Ministries at Parkway are about:
- Worshipping
God
- Family
- Education
- Fun
We
are about Worshipping God first because that is what He has called us
to do. Jesus said in Mark 12:30, “…you must
love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your
mind, and all your strength.”
Secondly, we are about family. This is important because it is what
bonds us together as believers first, and as friends second.
Thirdly, we are committed to musical excellence through education. We
want to learn as much as we can so that we can give our best to God.
Proverbs 1:5 says, "Let the wise listen and add to
their learning, and let the discerning get guidance."
Last but not least, we are about having Fun. Psalms 68:3 says, “But
let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God's presence. Let them
be filled with joy.”
It is our hope that you, as a musician or singer, will take your God-given
talents seriously and join our family that exists to give God glory
in everything that we do! We have opportunities available for every
type and level of musician or singer.
Despite
a common misconception, you do not need to be a professional to join…none
of us are. So check out our “Interest Card” for opportunities
that are currently available. Don’t let fear hold you back! We
want you to be a part of our family!!!
