I’m Becky Merryman, the Children’s Pastor at Parkway. I accepted Christ into my life at a very young age. I grew up as a preachers kid, which had it’s challenges, but God brought me through. God placed the calling of working with children on my life and that has taken me down some different roads.

I married the man of my dreams in January, 1990. My husband Steve also had a call to ministry on his life and we both grew together as we discovered the path that God had for us. In June of 1997 God led us to Parkway. We had no idea what God was planning on doing with us here, but that was soon revealed as we both quickly got involved. I took my position on staff in 1998 and Steve serves as the Executive Pastor.

Steve and I are the proud parents of two incredible boys, Zach and Anthony. My three guys are at the very top of my importance list! We love to go camping as a family. Our favorite place is Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Jackson, Wyoming is my dream place to live!

I take much joy in watching my boys play their sports. I liked to watch fun movies, I can’t really say which one is my favorite, that changes with my mood. My favorite TV show is 24, that would be the one hour a week I get to watch something that is not sports related or on Nickelodeon. My vision for the children at Parkway is to see them grow in a relationship with God.

My name is Julie Metro. I was raised in a great Christian home, but dedicated my life to Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and was baptized when I was 7 years old. God blessed me with a wonderful husband, Stephen (you’ll probably know him as “Steve”), whom I’ve been married to since July, 1999. We came to Parkway from Riverside, California as Full-Time Student Ministry Pastors in June 2003. We don’t have any children, but we enjoy life with a dog, 2 cats, and 3 fish.

I enjoy singing, traveling, camping, and hanging out with my friends and family. In my spare time, I enjoy watching the show “24”, “Everwood”, and “American Idol”! I also enjoy reading…specifically Amish books by Beverly Lewis and my favorite movie that I own and love to watch is A Walk to Remember. I cry every time! The best place I’ve ever been is hiking up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the springtime! Definitely gotta go camping there again soon!

I’m very excited to be alive at this time and look forward to what God has in store for us!

Hello! I'm Stephanie. I came to Parkway in the summer of 2000. My husband, Travis, and I came from Lee University in Cleveland, TN to be youth pastors here and we loved it. God led us in a different direction but we fell in love with Phoenix so much we wouldn't leave for anything!

I'm now the Music Director at Parkway and am enjoying every minute of it. We have been host-parents to Surlah, a foreign exchange student from Korea, for 2 years and are expecting our first child in September 2008.

I love all things music, but can't stand watching American Idol. My favorite tv shows are "Heroes", "Chuck", "The Pretender" and "Stargate SG-1". In my spare time, I love to work on personal projects - like writing musicals and painting my laundry room. I really love spending hours talking to friends, cooking together, and watching movies.

My quirk? I can't stand to watch a movie more than once! My personal goal in the next five years is to visit Savannah, Georgia and Prince Edward Island, Canada - oh, and go on the Disney cruise again! If you see me around the campus, I might be a little busy (they tell me that's just my personality) but I'm never too busy to meet you!

My name is Jerad Shepherd. I grew up in church and in a Christian home, but I started a personal relationship with Christ when I was 11 years old. I began attending Parkway in August 2005, after moving to Phoenix from Southern California, where I had lived my entire life. I came on staff at Parkway in September 2005 as the Media Director.

I am married to Diana, my wife since 1998, and we have four children. I like to play with my kids and play video games in my spare time. My favorite TV show is WWE Raw. I know…it used to be hard admitting that I am a wrestling fan, but I just don’t care anymore!

My favorite book is "Now, Discover Your Strengths" by Marcus Buckingham & Donald O. Clifton. My favorite movie of all time is Return Of The Jedi. The best place I have ever been is in Carlsbad, CA. I got to sit on the balcony of a hotel at sunrise and watch the dolphins swim just off shore. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen!
